Vaginal reconstruction is a term used to describe any vaginal surgery.  Vaginal laxity could result in loss of sexual gratification and loss of feeling or pleasure during intercourse.  Urinary leakage and incontinence is also a result.  Contrary to popular belief, loss of vaginal architecture is not a normal aging process.  Vaginal reconstruction surgery is usually simple and pain free done on an out patient basis.
