Juvederm is a FDA approved injectable filler made mostly of Hyaluronic acid a substance found in skin, muscle and tendons of mammals.  This smooth consistency gel is used to smooth away wrinkles, folds and restore skins volume.  Juvederms prime use is removing nasolabial folds or smile lines.  It is also used as a lip augmentation agent and used fill in hollow places and scars.  The results last from six to nine months; the filler eventually becomes absorbed by the body.
