Labiaplasty or labia minor reduction is the surgical procedure that involves reducing elongated labia.  The female’s genital anatomy varies on age, genetics and other factors.  Large uneven labia can cause pain during intercourse or with certain clothes and swimsuits.  Many women want the procedure done for aesthetic reasons, because they feel embarrassed or insecure with sexual partners.  Labiaplasty surgery is a minor procedure done under local or general anesthesia; the procedure is relatively pain free.
